Web design for IT, software and SaaS companies
We design websites for software and IT companies that make complex products understandable and turn visitors into qualified demo requests.

What matters in IT and SaaS
What your target audience really expects.
Anyone buying software wants to understand within seconds which problem you solve and then try it out themselves. Management, IT leadership and the business department look at very different things. Your website has to reach all three without getting lost in features.
The problem first, then the features
Visitors come with a problem, not with a feature list. The homepage first answers what your product solves, for whom and with what result. The details have room further down.
Show instead of describe
To outsiders, a dashboard screenshot is just a screen full of numbers at first. Short animations and targeted product snippets show the moment it clicks.
A clear path to demo or trial
Book a demo, start a trial or talk to sales: every page needs one clear next step. Better one strong call to action than five equal buttons.
Trust before the first call
Customer logos, real voices, security and data protection. Especially with software that handles sensitive data, IT leadership and procurement want to see this before booking a meeting.
Make integrations visible
The question of whether your tool fits the existing stack comes up early. A clear integrations page or a dedicated section on interfaces removes this hurdle before it slows down the purchase.
Out of the interchangeable tech look
You see blue gradients and abstract graphics everywhere. A distinctive brand with clear imagery makes your solution recognizable, like for NetConnection, Selobia or ScaleITs.
Marketing without a developer ticket
New landing pages, feature releases and blog articles shouldn't have to wait for development. In Webflow, your marketing team maintains the website itself, while the product stays technically separate.
Get found, in AI answers too
Today, software is also researched via ChatGPT and other AI search tools. Clean structure, use case pages and structured data help on Google and in AI answers.
What slows IT and SaaS companies down online.

Products that need explaining
Features, integrations, pricing models. If the website tries to tell everything at once, in the end nobody understands which problem you actually solve.
An interchangeable tech look
Blue gradients, abstract graphics and the same promises as the competition. That makes even a strong solution look like one of many.
The website as a bottleneck
Every new landing page needs a ticket with development. Marketing waits, campaigns start later and opportunities are lost.
Web design that sells your product before sales picks up the phone.
We translate your product into a clear story: which problem, for whom, with what result. Plus a design system your team uses to build new pages, feature releases and campaigns in Webflow themselves, without waiting for development.

Services in detail
What we build for IT and SaaS.
From homepage to changelog: building blocks that make your product understandable and turn visitors into qualified inquiries.
Positioning and messaging
We clarify target groups, use cases and buying arguments before designing. From that come the headline, the page structure and a story that leads from your customers' problem to their result.
A hero that explains your product
The first screen shows the core of your software in a few seconds. We plan the flow in Figma and build it lean in Webflow, for example with Lottie and a page load interaction, as we did for syte.
Product and feature pages
Every core feature gets its own page with benefits, workflow and matching product snippets. That way every target group finds the answers it needs for its decision.
Use case and target group pages
A CEO looks for something different than an IT manager. Separate pages for each use case or role speak to both directly and are strong entry pages on Google at the same time.
Integrations and tool connections
We set up your integrations as a CMS collection that your team extends itself. We also connect appointment booking, CRM and tracking so that every inquiry lands where your sales team works.
Demo, trial and contact paths
Forms with few fields, appointment booking right on the page and clear calls to action. We build the paths to fit your sales process, not the other way around.
Blog, changelog and resources
We set up releases, expert articles, white papers or webinars as separate collections. Your team publishes on its own and shows that your product keeps evolving.
A design system for campaigns
Components and sections your marketing team uses to put together new landing pages without the design suffering. That way the website grows at the pace of your product, on desktop and on smartphone.

FAQ
Is Webflow worth it for SaaS companies?
For most, yes. Marketing pages, blog, changelog and landing pages can be maintained in Webflow without developers, while the product itself stays separate. That way your marketing works faster and development can focus on the product.
How do you present a complex product in an understandable way?
We don't start with features but with your customers' problems. From that comes a page structure that explains step by step what your product solves. Product screens and short animations show instead of describe.
Can you connect demo booking, CRM and tracking?
Yes. We connect forms, appointment booking, CRM and tracking so that every inquiry lands where your sales team works. We'll clarify which tools suit you in the initial consultation.
How long does a project with Webwavers take?
That depends on the scope. After the initial consultation, you get a timeline with fixed milestones before the project starts. That way you always know what happens next.
What happens if I don't like the design?
If you're not fully convinced after the moodboards and the first design sections, you get your deposit back in full. This guarantee has never been claimed so far.

Guide: IT & SaaS
Web design for IT and SaaS: websites that explain your product in seconds.
The essentials at a glance, in 7 chapters. Jump straight to the topic that's on your mind right now.
Why software websites work differently
You can't touch software. Anyone landing on your website has no product in hand and usually no login yet either. Everything they learn about your tool, they learn through copy, images and motion. That's exactly why, for IT and SaaS companies, the website is often the first real contact with the product.
On top of that, software is rarely bought by one person alone. Management wants to know what pays off. IT leadership asks about security, hosting and interfaces. The business department wants to see whether their daily work gets easier. A good SaaS website answers these questions in a sensible order instead of telling everything at once.
The most common problem
Many homepages follow the same pattern: a headline, three icons, a screenshot of the dashboard. That shows what the software looks like. But it doesn't explain what it does. Visitors have to piece the rest together themselves, and that's exactly where many drop off.
The hero decides: show the one moment
The first visible area of your website decides whether someone keeps reading. Instead of listing every feature, a simple question is worth asking: what's the shortest path from your customer's problem to their result? That exact path belongs in the hero.
For our client syte, an AI platform for land plots, that's the path from an address to a decision. The hero shows it in three steps: assess, design, scale. An address is searched, the plot appears on the map, the result becomes visible. Anyone who watches for a few seconds understands what it's about. How we built it from Figma to Webflow is described in our guide to the SaaS hero.
How to test your own hero
- Five-second test: Show the homepage to someone who doesn't know your product. Can they then say what it does and for whom?
- No-text test: Cover the headline. Does the image below still tell a story?
- Sales test: Ask your sales team what they show first in every demo. That often belongs at the top.
One structure for several target groups
If a website tries to speak to everyone at once, in the end it doesn't really speak to anyone. Better is a structure that reaches each role in a targeted way. The homepage states the core benefit. From there, clear paths lead to product and feature pages, to use cases or industries and to topics such as security and integrations.
Use case pages are doubly valuable here. They speak to a target group in its own language, and they're strong entry pages on Google and in AI search. Anyone searching for a solution to a specific problem lands directly on the right page instead of a general homepage.
What no SaaS website should be without
- Product or feature pages with benefits instead of feature lists
- Pages for the most important use cases or target groups
- An overview of integrations
- References and real customer testimonials
- A section for blog, releases or resources
Trust, integrations and the path to the demo
Before someone books a demo, they want to be sure the conversation is worth it. Customer logos, real voices and concrete examples help more than big promises. For software with sensitive data, information on data protection, hosting and security belongs clearly visible on the site. You'll find more on this in our post on trust elements on B2B websites.
The second big question is: does this fit our stack? An integrations page answers it before it becomes an obstacle. We usually set it up as a CMS collection so your team can add new integrations itself.
The next step has to be clear
Demo, trial or contact: decide on one main call to action per page. Keep forms short and, where it fits, offer appointment booking right on the page. We explain why fewer fields often bring more inquiries in our post on the inquiry form.
Brand and Webflow: as fast as your product
In the software market, many presences look the same. A distinctive brand helps you not come across as one of many. For NetConnection, a SaaS platform for automotive retail, we developed a rebranding that clearly positions the company between automotive and tech. For Selobia, we created an identity that radiates competence without feeling technical.
Technically, we usually build SaaS websites in Webflow. The reason is practical: your team maintains marketing pages, blog, changelog and landing pages itself, while the product stays separate. New campaigns no longer wait for a ticket with development. We build following Client-First, with components and sections from which new pages come together quickly. As a Webflow Premium Partner, we know the system inside out.
How we approach SaaS and IT projects
Every project follows a clear process. You always know where we stand and when you're needed.
- Initial consultation and onboarding: We clarify goals, target groups, use cases and buying arguments. Our onboarding questionnaire lays the foundation.
- Concept and structure: Page structure, messages and the path to the demo are set before designing.
- Moodboards and first sections: You see the direction and the most important areas early, including the hero.
- Design of all pages in Figma: Including mobile views and planned animations.
- Build in Webflow: With CMS, integrations, tracking and a technical SEO foundation.
- Launch and training: We go live together and show your team how to maintain the site itself.
During the project, you have a dedicated contact person and your own Slack channel. You'll find all the details on our page about the process.
How much time do I have to invest myself?
We keep your effort as low as possible. You're involved at the decisive points: briefing, approvals and final feedback. We take care of the rest.
Are there ongoing costs after launch?
Yes, for hosting and platform licenses, for example the Webflow site plan. If you want to hand off maintenance, updates and further development, there are our growth packages for maintenance, SEO, GEO and conversion.
Checklist for your SaaS website
You don't have to rebuild everything at once. Often a clear hero and a clean path to the demo already make a big difference. These points quickly show you where your website stands today:
- Does a stranger understand within five seconds what your product does and for whom?
- Is there a clear next step on every page?
- Does IT leadership find answers on security, data protection and integrations?
- Does every important target group have its own page?
- Can your marketing team publish new landing pages without development?
- Does the most important moment also work on a smartphone?
If you hesitate on several points, it's worth taking a closer look. Tell us about your product, and we'll show you how your website can explain it in seconds.
