That is the full list, and we deliberately don't write anything we don't firmly commit to. A long list with a fruit basket and a foosball table doesn't help you decide. What matters more is whether the conditions fit your daily life.

Up to 60% remote

You don't have to come into the office every day. You can work up to 60% of your working time remotely. The rest of the time you are in the office, either in Günzburg or in Munich's Werksviertel. You agree with the team on how to split your days. We don't fix an exact weekly schedule here, because it depends on the projects.

You can find more about daily work on the Working at Webwavers page.

MacBook as equipment

You work with a MacBook. For Figma, Webflow and everything that goes with it, you don't need to bring your own hardware.

Continuing education, mainly in UX/UI design

Our focus for continuing education is UX/UI design. That fits what we do every day: websites where structure, user guidance and design work together. If you want to develop in a different area, bring it up openly in the interview. We don't give a blanket commitment for that here, but we listen.

For an impression of how we understand UX/UI, see the UX/UI Design page.

30 vacation days

You have 30 vacation days per year. Rest is part of the job here, especially in a profession where you look at details all day.

Team events with the Webwavers group

Webwavers belongs to a group of brands and partner agencies. We hold the team events together with the whole Webwavers group, for example over a shared meal. That way you also get to know colleagues from the sister companies. You can see who belongs to the group under Webwavers Group.

Salary at Webwavers

Salary depends on your role and your experience. There is no single figure that applies to everyone, so we give you ranges per role. In our job ads, we ask you to state your salary expectations. That lets us talk openly instead of dancing around numbers.

The range depends on your experience and the responsibility you take on. The figures are gross per year for full-time work.

RolleGehaltsspanne (Jahresbrutto, Vollzeit)
Webflow Developer55.000 bis 70.000 Euro
Projektmanager Digital52.000 bis 68.000 Euro
Webdesigner50.000 bis 65.000 Euro
Senior Webdesigner / Senior UI-Designer70.000 bis 90.000 Euro
Pflichtpraktikum im Studium800 bis 1.200 Euro im Monat
Freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monatemindestens gesetzlicher Mindestlohn

If you are a designer who has already been responsible for your own projects, confidently guides clients through feedback rounds and works cleanly in Figma for implementation in Webflow, you are more likely at the upper end of the range. For developers and project managers, experience with larger projects and the level of ownership count. The ranges for Webflow Developer and Digital Project Manager are also on the respective job pages.

Internships and minimum wage

For internships, the statutory minimum wage of €13.90 per hour applies since January 1, 2026, and rises to €14.60 on January 1, 2027. According to § 22 MiLoG (German Minimum Wage Act), there are exceptions: a mandatory internship prescribed by the study or examination regulations is exempt from the minimum wage. This also applies to voluntary orientation internships and internships alongside studies, as long as they last no more than three months. If a voluntary internship lasts longer than three months, the minimum wage applies retroactively from day one. That is exactly why we pay at least the statutory minimum wage for a voluntary internship of more than three months. For a mandatory internship as part of a degree, we pay €800 to €1,200 per month. This is not legal advice. We clarify the details of your case in the interview.

Market benchmarks for context

The following figures are market benchmarks from public salary portals. They are not a Webwavers salary and not an offer. They only show the range within which salaries move in Germany. Our own ranges are listed above.

Here is how to read the table:

  • The portals differ widely. For web designers, the figures are almost €15,000 apart. That comes down to different data sources, experience levels and job titles.
  • A Webflow developer has no profile of its own on the portals. We used the title front-end developer as the closest approximation. Those who also master CMS setup, interactions and technical SEO are often above the average.
  • Average is not starting salary. The figures mix career starters, senior profiles and companies of every size.
  • Region and industry matter. Agencies, large corporations and mid-sized companies pay differently, and Munich is usually above smaller cities.

What to bring to your interview

  1. Your salary expectations as a gross annual figure, ideally with a short rationale.
  2. Your portfolio, for developers links to projects they built themselves.
  3. Your earliest possible start date.

You can find the overall process on the Applying at Webwavers page.
